Underwater swimmer Hannah Fraser made her first mermaid tail when she was only 9 years old and now swims as a mermaid professionally (sounds like someone I know too well…). She can hold her breath for up to two minutes and can swim up to 45 feet deep…wtf?! So rad!! Here’s where my ideal dream life kicks in: her and her surfer and underwater photographer husband, Dave Rastovich, were so angered by the massacre of whales in whaling nations they wanted to spread awareness of this slaughtering funded by the International Whaling Commission to the world so he captured pictures of Hannah swimming with wild humpback whales off Vava’u Island, Tonga. They continue to capture her swimming with wild marine life in order to promote marine conservation and protest against whale hunting.
